EA has just announced an enhanced version of The Sims 3: Collector’s Edition Showtime with Katy Perry in the center.

In Dead Space 2 Electronic Arts has horrified mothers, when Bulletstorm Epic Games president Mike Capps was seen in the bathtub, so for The Sims they also had to come up with something special.

However, the whole thing will stand this time a little more expensive, because from now on the franchise campaign music star will be Katy Perry. Even The Sims 2 featured one of her song called “Hot and Cold”. The beginning of this cooperation creates a special Collector’s Edition for Sims 3: Showtime, and Perry will also become part of a comprehensive marketing campaign before the release of the add-ons, most probably in March.

The 27-year-old is also working closely together with the developers, to add content in the form of accessories, hairstyles, furniture design and much more. Steve Schnur, Worldwide Executive of Music at EA:
